Working as an Instrument & Electrical Technician at our St. Clair Ethanol Plant offers many perks. You will utilize your technical skills to safely and reliably maintain process operations, optimizing production in an environmentally responsible manner. You will be part of a team supporting the largest Ethanol production facility in the country, producing 400 million litres per year. Minimum Requirements:
  • Preference for dual ticket Certified Electrician/Instrumentation ticket
  • Licensed 309 construction and maintenance electrical ticket is preferred
  • Experience in an industrial or manufacturing facility
  • SAP experience within the maintenance module is preferred
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure safety of personnel, equipment, and the environment, adhering to plant policies
  • Maintain instruments & electrical equipment at the plant as part of a dynamic crew
  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Troubleshoot, program, and maintain PLC systems
  • Familiarize with the Distributed Control System (DCS) for input and maintenance
  • Install, repair, and calibrate instruments for process measurements and controls
  • Document all electrical and instrumentation changes accurately
  • Comply with regulatory requirements related to electrical, instrumentation, and calibration
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping for a safe work environment
Location and Key Details:
  • Based at our Ethanol facility in Ontario, located at 535 Rokeby Line, Mooretown, ON
  • Standard 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with potential for extended hours based on business needs
  • This position is safety sensitive
  • Must adhere to our clean-shaven policy; capable of performing heavy lifting, working on ladders, elevated sites, and in confined spaces, indoors and outdoors
