Job summary

Southeast College is seeking a Plumbing and Pipefitting Instructor in Estevan to teach theory and hands-on concepts, guiding students through practical applications and industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong teaching passion, a Saskatchewan Interprovincial Journeyperson Plumbing certificate with a domestic gasfitter license, and at least two years of post-Journeyperson experience to keep curriculum relevant and engaging.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in Plumbing with a domestic gasfitters license (Saskatchewan).
• Two years recent, relevant post-Journeyperson experience in Plumbing and Gas Fitting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and instructional abilities.
• Competence with MS Office Suite, email, internet, and learning management systems.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and changing environments.
• Team-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
