Job summary

Southeast College is seeking a skilled Plumbing and Pipefitting Instructor to join our Estevan team. The ideal candidate will teach plumbing and gas fitting, blending theory with hands-on practice, while supporting diverse learners and maintaining up-to-date industry connections.

The instructor will guide students through curriculum, provide timely feedback, and stay current with trends to ensure relevance and quality in instruction.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in Plumbing, with a domestic gasfitters license (minimum) for Saskatchewan.
• Two years recent, relevant post-Journeyperson experience in Plumbing and Gas Fitting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and instructional abilities.
• Competence with MS Office Suite, email, internet, and learning management systems.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and changing environments.
• A team-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
