Job summary

SAIT's MacPhail School of Energy in Calgary seeks two Instructors to teach the Electrical Apprenticeship, pre-employment electrician program, and Trades & Technology diploma program. Strong knowledge of electrical theory, code, and current trade practices is essential.

Teaching may require early mornings, evenings and weekends. Compensation ranges CAD 86,259–99,965 with placement based on skills and internal equity, plus comprehensive benefits and pension through LAPP.

Salary range:$86,259 - $99,965. Placement within the range is typically based upon a review of skills, experience, and internal equity.

We are looking for Instructors to teach the Electrical Apprenticeship, pre-employment electrician program, and Trades & Technology diploma program. Teaching this program requires in-depth knowledge of electrical theory, code and current residential and commercial trade practices. As part of our team, you are encouraged to be bold and inventive, bringing new ideas to the table.

Note: SAIT, as a post-secondary institution, serves a diverse student population. Therefore, instructional duties may occasionally be required during early mornings, evenings, and weekends. If selected, specific scheduling arrangements will be discussed between you and the leader.
