Qualifications

  • Requires a degree in Computer Science or a closely related degree with two years’ relevant experience in at least two of: programming, database management, project management, system administration, or N-tier website development.
  • OR a diploma in Computer Science with at least five years’ relevant experience in at least two of: programming, database management, project management, system administration, or N-tier website development.
  • Demonstrated effective communications, interpersonal, and instructional abilities; ability to work in a team and adapt to changing technology.

Responsibilities

  • Select, design, update, and construct training aids/materials.
  • Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures, and demonstrations.
  • Evaluate students via exams, assignments, and observations and record progress.
  • Supervise students in class, shop, labs, and during tours.
  • Counsel students on program and job opportunities.
  • Assist in/arrange equipment maintenance/repair and order supplies.
  • Attend staff meetings, seminars, and workshops to stay current with industry and education requirements.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal skills and team collaboration.
  • Communicate clearly in written and spoken form.

Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA)

Job Duties

  • 1. Select, design, update and construct training aids/materials.

  • 7. Attend whenever possible, staff meetings, trade seminars, workshops, etc. to keep current with industry and educational requirements.
  • 8. Practice good interpersonal skills and a willingness to work in a “team” environment.
  • 9. Communicate in a clear and concise manner both orally and in written form.
