A healthcare provider in Canada is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator to advance clinical practice and support the professional development of nursing staff. You will coordinate comprehensive orientation programs and facilitate continuing education initiatives. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Labour and Delivery, along with strong communication and leadership abilities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality, evidence-informed care for obstetrical patients and contributing to policy development within the maternal-newborn program.
As a Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), you will play a key leadership role in advancing clinical practice and supporting professional development for nursing staff within the Labour, Delivery, and Postpartum areas at Sturgeon Community Hospital. The CNE plans, implements, and evaluates education, orientation, and competency programs that reflect current best practice and adult learning principles.
Working collaboratively with leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and other educators across the site, zone, and province, the CNE promotes safe, high‑quality, and evidence‑informed care for obstetrical patients and their families. This position also contributes to quality improvement, patient safety, and policy development within the maternal‑newborn program.
