Job description

Join the team as Twilio’s next Instructional Designer 4.

Although we're headquartered in San Francisco, we have a presence throughout South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. We're on a journey to becoming a global company that actively opposes racism and all forms of oppression and bias. At Twilio, we support diversity, equity & inclusion wherever we do business.

About the job

We are looking for an innovative, hands-on Instructional Designer to develop Sales Enablement course work, content, and assets. You will work closely with your Enablement peers to ensure training and assets related to GTM Sales are created and delivered to the field.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Design sales enablement training and course content
  • Deliver assets and training related to Twilio processes (pricing, contracts, analytics, deals, etc.)
  • Ensure every training has defined learning objectives and leverages adult learning theory
  • Build impactful learner and instructor materials (e-learnings, presentations, course outlines, background material, instructional materials, exercises, job aids, and assessments)
Qualifications

Not all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly. Twilio values diverse experiences in other industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. While having “desired” qualifications makes for a strong candidate, we encourage applicants with alternative experiences to also apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

Required:

  • 5+ years training, sales enablement, or related field experience
  • Direct experience in Sales Enablement Instructional Design
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Proven experience with training and content delivery tools
  • Experience with Salesforce, Highspot, Salesloft, Slack, Tableau, and other Sales Enablement tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, someone who enjoys working with others in a collaborative, social environment
  • Effective at building and maintaining positive relationships
  • Passion for excellence and high quality in the finished product, acute attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work with little definition and without supervision while multitasking and prioritizing across several projects and initiatives
Location

This role will be remote and based in Alberta, British Columbia, or Ontario, Canada.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, you may be required to travel occasionally to participate in project or team in-person meetings.

What We Offer

There are many benefits to working at Twilio, including, in addition to competitive pay, things like generous time-off, ample parental and wellness leave, healthcare, a retirement savings program, and much more. Offerings vary by location.
