Job description

A detail-oriented Installation Technician is needed to install and maintain various types of signage, ensuring installations meet client specifications and safety standards. The role includes transporting signs, preparing installation sites, and mentoring junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
– Install and mount signs (e.g., fascia, vinyl, channel letters, pylons, awnings) accurately and safely.
– Review blueprints and work orders to plan installations.
– Operate aerial lift equipment and hand/power tools.
– Prepare and clean installation sites; perform sign maintenance/repairs.
– Maintain documentation (photos, logs, inspection reports).

Requirements:
– Experience: 2+ years in sign installation or similar role; construction/manufacturing background preferred.
– Strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, ability to work at heights and in various weather.
– Valid commercial driver’s license; ability to operate heavy machinery preferred.
– Physically fit, organized, adaptable, safety-conscious, open to overtime and travel.
– 0-8 Ton Crane certification an asset

Pay rate:
– $30-35/hour, based on experience
