THE ROLE

Reporting to the CEO and in collaboration with the Office & Sales Manager, the INSTALLATION MANAGER is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of our granite and quartz installation arm.This includes installation of granite and quartz countertops, assembly of waterfall gables, on-site polishing, seam assembly, and various other tasks associated with the installation process.The successful candidate will have an eye for fine detail and possess keen problem-solving skills and is adept at thinking on their feet.Your passion for providing an excellent customer experience is evident in the exceptional service you offer each client.You are a skilled communicator and enjoy coaching and mentoring employees, and your ability to both give and receive directions culminates in a teamwork mentality.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

A good fit for this role is someone with project management experience in the construction industry and has proven success in a management role in a production or manufacturing plant.You are knowledgeable in the countertop or stone fabrication business and are familiar with the industry and equipment.You have developed strong skills in estimating and sales and have conducted on-site measuring and installations.As a collaborative leader you have a reputation for creating a positive environment that maximizes product quality and productivity, and you act decisively to solve problems and implement process improvements as needed.You possess exceptional organizational skills that lead you to thrive in a fast-paced environment, successfully managing many projects simultaneously that vary in size, budget, and timeline, and ensuring the timely execution of each one.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Review fabricated surfaces for accuracy.

Project site assistance for installations, meetings, and supervision.Digital templating on site.

Coordinate with home builders, contractors, homeowners, and trades.

Coordinate and communicate with fabrication team and shop management to advance projects.

Excellent verbal and written communication, phone skills, and message management.

Determine and implement improvements to installation processes while maintaining a collaborative and low-stress environment.

Inventory management.

REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in the stone industry

Experience as an installer or installation coordinator, as well as templating, is an asset.

Sales experience is an asset.

Working knowledge of construction materials and documentation including blueprints, cabinetry drawings, and architectural renderings.
