Qualifications

• Hold a college or vocational diploma in electromechanics, electricity, industrial electronics, or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in a similar inspector role.
• Knowledge of CSA and UL standards is an asset.
• Demonstrate strong organizational abilities.
• Attention to details and accuracy in reporting.

Responsibilities

Job description

In the role of Inspector, your primary mandate will be to ensure the inspection and compliance of control panels manufactured on-site. More precisely, you will have to :

• Read and interpret electrical drawings;
• Inspect control panels and power panels according to established criteria, standards, and specifications;
• Ensure that electrical control panels comply with design plans;
• Perform live voltage testing;
• Complete inspection reports;
• Attend certification meetings;
• Provide support to production for equipment assembly and wiring;
• Keep knowledge up to date regarding codes and standards;
• Correct deficiencies or errors when necessary;
• Comply with occupational health and safety standards;
• Perform any other related tasks as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a college diploma or a vocational diploma in electromechanics, electricity, industrial electronics, or any other equivalent training;
• 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of CSA and UL standards (an asset);
• Demonstrate strong organizational abilities;
• Display attention to details;
• Operate independently while ensuring rigorous alignment with company goals.
