Job summary

Gerrie Electric Wholesale Ltd. is a Canadian electrical distributor with multiple Ontario locations and a strong network of customers. This role focuses on sourcing, pricing, and fulfilling customer needs while growing business through proactive outreach.

You will maintain relationships with repeat customers, process orders, provide quotes, and support Account Managers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education from an Electrical related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in Sales (Electrical industry preferred).
• Proven track record and drive to sell and succeed.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Promptly address customer needs with regards to sourcing, pricing, and availability of material
• Growing and maintaining relationships with customers (we have a lot of repeat customers)
• Promote and increase business through proactive calls
• Receive, enter and generate customer orders in the system in an efficient manner
• Work in conjunction with and provide support to Account Managers Provide accurate quotations, pricing and availability to customers as required
• Expedite and follow-up on orders and back orders
• Process customer credits (defectives products, etc.) in a timely manner
• Provide back up to Counter Sales staff, as required
