Job summary

CDC Computers in Winnipeg is seeking a friendly, energetic Customer Service & Sales Associate to greet walk-ins, answer calls, triage service needs, and help prepare quotes and close sales for products and services.

You will maintain tickets, assist with light shipping, and keep the floor organized while delivering a positive client experience during business hours.

CDC Computers is a locally owned technology company providing sales, service, installation, and training. For over 40 years we have helped Winnipeg homes and businesses stay up and running.

In this role you will be the first person our clients meet—whether they walk in, call or email. You will triage service needs, prepare quotes, complete sales for both products and services, and keep the floor moving.

What You Will Do:

• Welcome and assist every walk-in client with energy and professionalism.
• Answer inbound calls, gather clear information, and create or update tickets.
• Perform service triage: listen, document the issue accurately, and determine the next step.
• Prepare and present quotes for both sales (products) and service (repairs, labour, priority options).
• Complete sales transactions for products and approved service work
• Write clear, legible ticket notes and quote details that the team can act on immediately.
• Support light shipping and receiving so parts and orders keep flowing.
• Maintain a clean, organized counter and a positive client experience throughout the day.
  

What You Bring:

• Native-level English, both spoken and written.
• Clear, legible handwriting and typed notes.
• Comfort speaking with clients in person and on the phone, and confidence presenting quotes.
• Reliable, energetic, and able to multi-task (counter, phones, quoting, light shipping).
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our ticketing and quoting process.
• Previous customer-service, retail, or inside-sales experience is an asset.
• Available Monday–Friday during business hours.
