Job summary

The Fastener Group in Red Deer, Alberta, is seeking a reliable Inside Sales & Service Lead to guide a team of inside sales reps, manage customer inquiries, and ensure accurate product knowledge.

You will deliver best-in-class service, provide pricing and inventory information, handle escalations promptly, and collaborate with branches to support both the sales and service functions across Western Canada.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of customer service experience in the same or similar industry.
• Strong work ethic and ability to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computers; willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Lead/manage/supervise a team of inside sales representatives.
• Provide best-in-class customer service and help resolve customer issues and requests in a timely manner.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products/services.
• Provide pricing and inventory information to customers.
• Address customer escalations.
• Collaborate with team members within the branch and with other functions/branches across TFG.
• Support Outside Sales Reps in processing quotes, orders, and other requirements.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Inside Sales & Service Lead to join our growing team at our Red Deer location. As an Inside Sales & Service Lead, your primary responsibilities will include processing customer orders and addressing inquiries related to products, pricing, and product availability. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth sales experience for our customers by providing prompt responses, delivering professional customer service, and demonstrating accurate product knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead/manage/supervise a team of inside sales representatives.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 7 years of customer service experience in the same or similar Industry is a definite asset.
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new software programs
• Highly motivated with a desire to be successful.
• Willingness to gain advanced knowledge of Fasteners & Tools products and services.
• Self-starter who takes initiative in getting things done.
• A team player with a "can-do" attitude.
