Wajax Corporation in Charlottetown, PE, is seeking a customer-focused sales support professional to manage quotes, orders and product information. You will engage with customers, potential buyers, and vendors to ensure accurate quotes and timely fulfillment.

The role emphasizes cross-selling, upselling, and providing excellent service to meet business targets while leveraging MS Office tools for reporting and communication.

Qualifications

• Education: College diploma.
• 2–3 years of related experience in a sales support role.
• Knowledge of bearings, mechanical power transmission, process pumps and/or hydraulic components would be an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, completion of ongoing product training.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily customer quotes and orders, and expedite orders for customers.
• Provide product and pricing information to generate new and repeat sales.

The Opportunity

Engaging customers with a focus on customer quote creation and order fulfillment, creating customer satisfaction and adding value to the customer’s buying experience. Provide consistently elevated levels of customer service to customers and accounts as well as vendors, reaching business targets through excellent telephone sales and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily customer quotes and orders, and expediting those orders for the customer.
• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and pricing information in a timely manner.
• Determine customer requirements and expectations to recommend specific products and solutions.
• Recommend alternative products based on cost, availability, or specifications.
• Increase sales and average order size by means of cross‑selling, upselling, add‑on sales and offering promotional sales items.
• Respond to customers via phone, fax or email for quotes, purchases, etc. in a timely manner after hours on call rotation.
