Qualifications

• Two years of experience in project management and/or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes based on inquiries or proposals and tailored to project plans and specs.
• Advise customers on the best products and parts and take complete orders.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues to meet client needs and timelines.
• Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and the sales team to align with project schedules.
• Analyze plans, calculate quantities, and prepare material take-offs for bidding as needed.
• Discuss project expectations, schedules, and delivery requirements with clients.

Our client, a well-established company in the civil engineering sector, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join their sales team.

Job Description

Reporting to the sales team, the successful candidate will be responsible for serving and growing their assigned client base and will manage all stages leading to the delivery of materials to the job site (according to the client's project schedule).

She will respond to customer requests by producing the required quotes and applying the sales process to achieve regional objectives, while collaborating effectively with external sales and maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes following a customer request or request for proposals, based on plans, specifications, and required conditions.
• Respond to customer inquiries, advise them on the best products and parts to use, and take complete product orders.
• Take any steps or conduct any research deemed relevant to satisfy customers or resolve a problem.
• Handle potential complaints or claims and update the non-compliance file.
• Analyze plans and specifications, perform quantity calculations, prepare material take-offs for bidding, and research product suppliers as needed.
• Discuss project expectations with clients (schedules, accuracy of quantities and items, number of deliveries required).
• Coordinate delivery times with suppliers and plan logistics/transportation in collaboration with the counter manager.
• Request quotes from suppliers as needed and regularly inform the external representative and the sales manager of any relevant market and client information.
• Prepare final, negotiation-ready quotes for your own clients and occasionally for external representatives.

Required Skills
