How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the pickup and delivery of packages across the city. The driver must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload cylinder trailers, supply P&D and distributor trucks with cylinders and products, and provide shipping documents and placards to customers.
• Customer Needs Anticipation: Prioritize and coordinate with sales and customer service teams to meet customer requirements daily.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to enhance work processes for greater efficiency.
• Safety: Ensure safe handling of cylinders and products at all times.
• Utilize welding knowledge to deliver products and assist customers in finding suitable supplies for their projects.
• Learn and operate new computer systems to provide accurate information, pricing, and quotes.
• Engage with our customer base through deliveries and front-line interactions, learn about our products, and seek mentorship from sales and management for growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Class DZ license with Air Brakes endorsement
• Welding knowledge, experience, or education is a strong asset
• Experience in Shipping/Receiving is preferred
• Ability to lift and move 50lbs regularly
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong computer literacy is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with customer and team interactions
• Analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced, changing environments

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Google Suite
• Experience with Oracle systems
• Forklift operation experience

Education:

• Technical diploma or background in Welding or cylinder-related fields is preferred
