How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for the pickup and delivery of packages throughout the city. The driver must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Receiving: Loading and unloading cylinder trailers, supplying P&D trucks and distributor trucks with cylinders and products, and providing shipping documents and placards to customers.
• Customer Needs Anticipation: Prioritize and coordinate with sales and customer service teams to meet customer needs daily.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members to improve work processes for increased efficiency.
• Safety: Always work safely when handling cylinders and products.
• Utilize welding knowledge to deliver products and assist customers in finding supplies for their projects and business needs.
• Learn new computer systems to provide accurate information, pricing, and quotes.
• Develop knowledge of our customer base, products, and collaborate with the Outside Sales Team and Managers to grow career opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• Class DZ license with Air Brakes endorsement is required
• Welding knowledge/experience/education is a strong asset
• Experience in Shipping/Receiving is an asset
• Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs regularly
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong computer literacy is essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Google Suite
• Experience with Oracle systems
• Forklift operation experience

Education:

• Technical diploma or background in Welding or cylinder-related knowledge/experience preferred
