How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Job Summary: This position is responsible for the pickup and delivery of packages throughout the city. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Receiving: Load and unload cylinder trailers; supply P&D trucks and distributor trucks with cylinders and products; provide shipping documents and placards to customers.
• Customer Needs: Prioritize and coordinate with sales and customer service teams to meet customer requirements.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate daily with team members to enhance work processes for efficiency.
• Safety: Always handle cylinders and products safely.
• Apply welding knowledge to deliver products and assist customers in finding supplies.
• Learn new computer systems to provide accurate information, pricing, and quotes.
• Build relationships with customers through delivery and front-line interaction, learn about products, and seek growth opportunities with mentorship from sales and management teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Class DZ license with Air Brakes endorsement
• Welding knowledge/experience is a strong asset
• Experience in Shipping/Receiving is an asset
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills
• Strong computer literacy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales experience
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments

Highly Desirable Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Google Suite
• Oracle experience
• Forklift experience

Education:

• Diploma or background in Welding or cylinder-related knowledge/experience preferred
