Job summary

PICTON Investments is seeking a proactive Inside Sales Associate to help grow our advisor base and drive growth across Calgary and Edmonton in a hybrid work environment. You will collaborate with the VP, Retail Sales to craft sales plans, engage prospects, and expand our client footprint in Canada’s diversified investment space.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, finance or related field.
• Canadian Securities Course certification completed or in progress; CIM/CFA considered asset.
• 2+ years of sales experience in financial services or related industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingualism in French is an asset.
• Highly motivated self-starter with an innovative sales approach.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and grow the advisor base using a consultative sales approach and close new business.
• Support the assigned Vice President, Retail Sales (External Wholesaler) with ideas and strategies to develop overall sales and client base.
• Assist External Wholesaler with developing business plans and identifying growth opportunities in assigned territories.
• Meet and exceed activity targets for sales engagements, including meetings with prospects and supporters, plus phone/email outreach.
• Provide proactive support and services to supporters; coordinate follow-up with Wholesaler interactions.
• Maintain superior knowledge of Alternative Investment solutions (hedge funds, liquid alts) and CRM updates.
• Maintain records of region contacts and track leads in the sales funnel; participate in team meetings.
