PICTON Investments is seeking a Business Development Associate (BDA) to kickstart a rewarding sales career within a leading Canadian asset management firm. You will support territory sales strategies, engage advisors, and help generate pipeline in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers robust training, opportunities to advance to wholesaling or leadership, a base salary of 50k–60k CAD plus discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a sales, financial services, or client-facing role; experience in asset or wealth management is a strong asset.
• CSC designation is not required but is considered an asset; a keen interest in obtaining it is preferred.
• Completion of post-secondary education in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow within a competitive, fast-paced industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-centric approach.
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment.
• Bilingual in English and French is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Support advisor engagement and sales enablement within designated territories.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline through outbound outreach, meetings, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate and support advisor events, webinars, and sponsorships with marketing and compliance teams.
• Maintain CRM data with high accuracy and provide real-time insights into sales performance.
• Assist with calendar coordination, expense processing, and internal documentation to support sales initiatives.
