ONO Work & Safety in Courtenay, BC is seeking an Inside Sales & Service Representative to process customer orders, respond to inquiries about products, pricing, and availability, and deliver professional service with solid product knowledge.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of customer service experience, strong communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced sales environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of customer service experience in the same or similar industry is an asset.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent time management with ability to balance priorities and details.
• Proficient with computers and willing to learn new software programs.
• Motivated self-starter with initiative and a can-do attitude.
• Valid Driver’s License and willingness to provide a current abstract.
• Willingness to gain advanced knowledge of fasteners and tools products.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls, emails, and assist walk-in customers professionally.
• Provide best-in-class customer service and resolve issues promptly.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products/services.
• Provide pricing and inventory information to customers.
• Process and enter orders with detailed specs into the system.
• Support Outside Sales Reps with quotes and orders.
• Organize showroom, stock shelves and maintain displays.
• Load orders into company vehicle and deliver to local clients.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Inside Sales & Service Representative to join our growing team at our ONO Work & Safety Courtenay location. As an Inside Sales & Service Representative, your primary responsibilities will include processing customer orders and addressing inquiries related to products, pricing, and product availability. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth sales experience for our customers by providing prompt responses, delivering professional customer service, and demonstrating accurate product knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Answering phone calls, emails, and helping walk-in customers in a professional manner.
• Provide best-in-class customer service and help resolve customer issues and requests in a timely manner.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products/services.
• Provide pricing and inventory information to customers.
• Process and enter customer orders with detailed specifications into the computer system.
• Support Outside Sales Reps in processing quotes, orders, and other requirements.
• Help in organizing the showroom, stocking shelves, etc.
• Organize and load orders into a company/own vehicle and execute timely deliveries to local clients.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• 2 to 3 years of customer service experience in the same or similar Industry is a definite asset.
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to consistently deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and an ability to work with diverse groups of people.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities with high attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new software programs
• Highly motivated with a desire to be successful.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be willing to provide a current driver’s abstract.
• Willingness to gain advanced knowledge of Fasteners & Tools products and services.
• Self-starter who takes initiative in getting things done.
• A team player with a "can-do" attitude.
