Job summary

Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center is seeking a full-time physical therapist to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat hospitalized patients, work on the acute/swing unit, and float to the acute rehab unit as needed.

The role includes maintaining EMR records and collaborating with the health care team for optimal patient care, with a clinical ladder program and compensation adjustments available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of PT and eligible for licensure.
• Strong oral communication and professional behavior.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Job description

Mt. Ascutney Hospital is seeking a full-time physical therapist to join our dynamic team of skilled clinicians in the Inpatient Rehabilitation department. The PT will be one of two primary therapists for the acute/swing unitand float to theacute rehab unit as needed. Responsibilities include evaluations and patient-centered treatment for hospitalized people with a variety of diagnoses, maintaining appropriate electronic medical records, and working cooperatively with other members of the health care team to provide optimal care.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of PT. May be a new graduate or an experienced therapist. Must demonstrate effective oral communication skills and overall professional behavior.

Licensure & Certifications

Current licensure in the State of Vermont. BLS certification required.
