Avenue.io Inc. is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Concurrent Disorder Unit (CDU) at the Peter Lougheed Centre in Calgary.

In this 0.70 FTE role, you will provide trauma-informed nursing care for adults with concurrent mental health and substance use disorders, support discharge planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Posting date and availability align with unit needs, with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• Minimum 2 years of experience with at-risk populations in addiction and mental health.
• Knowledge of de-escalation, crisis intervention, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Understanding of cultural safety and Indigenous health perspectives.
