Job summary

Toyota Financial Services Canada is seeking a Business Innovation Manager to lead enterprise-wide innovation, operational excellence, and mobility programs from our Markham head office. You will guide problem solving and drive measurable value through structured Kaizen initiatives and data-driven improvements.

You will build the Innovation Framework, establish KPIs, and coordinate cross-functional teams to move ideas from concept to scaled launch while aligning with global Toyota affiliates.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience leading innovation, operational excellence, mobility, or enterprise transformation initiatives, including people leadership.
• Strong working knowledge of Toyota Business Practices, Kaizen, or equivalent (Lean, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide innovation, operational excellence, AI and Kaizen initiatives delivering measurable improvements.
• Develop and promote the TFS Business Innovation Framework; foster participation and an innovation culture.
• Establish KPIs to measure progress and success of initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams from concept through testing, pilot, and scaled launch.
• Translate business problems into structured, value-driven solutions using Toyota practices.
• Balance transformation initiatives with day-to-day operational improvements.
• Provide operational leadership for mobility programs and forecast/scenario analysis.
• Govern governance for Innovation, OE, AI, and mobility initiatives including intake and resourcing.
• Partner with stakeholders to use data-driven insights for improvements and new value.
