Job summary

Toyota Financial Services is seeking an Operational Excellence Analyst in Canada to support end-to-end process improvements and kaizen initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to map processes, analyze data, and implement robust countermeasures that improve quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.

The role requires a degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience in operational excellence, with strong communication skills and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience leading operational excellence, continuous improvement, or business process transformation with a strong track record of measurable results.
• Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work with various partners, vendors and stakeholders to build alignment and consensus.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement process controls, operating mechanisms, and benefit tracking that link to financial and customer outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative, flexible, and proactive with an ability to work independently and a strong desire to learn.
• Ability to work flexible hours and in-office minimum three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Continuous Improvement and Problem Solving.
• Lead cross functional project teams to identify problems, map processes, analyze data, and develop and implement solutions that address root causes.
• Apply Toyota Way methodologies including TPS, TBP, to support structured problem solving, standardization of work, and visual process mapping.
• Sustain and continuously improve the OE Engagement Framework and SharePoint Site.
• Enable consistent use of OE tools, templates, and practices across the organization.
• Support planning and execution of kaizen events, workshops, and improvement cycles; including the annual regional Kaizen competition.
• Create strategies, frameworks, and learning assets that support operational excellence and transformation priorities.
