Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a senior BIM/VDC leader to drive digital transformation in construction projects from tender through delivery. You will bridge client requirements, technical teams, and external partners to ensure innovative execution aligned with project objectives.

You will lead a team of VDC Coordinators and Integrators, develop BIM management plans, and promote best practices while collaborating with designers and subcontractors. Travel across Canada may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Architecture, CS, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in building design and construction Industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM protocols and their implementation.
• Solid knowledge of industry design tools and collaboration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop BIM Management Plan and key processes for design/tendering phases.
• Analyze client requirements and integrate into bid strategies; position VDC as strategic partner.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define VDC best practices.
• Lead and develop a team of VDC Coordinators and Integrators.
• Ensure deliverables quality and meet project timelines.
• Coordinate with designers, subcontractors to align with objectives.
• Promote innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in cost evaluations and strategic project planning.
• Act as innovation ambassador for Pomerleau internally and with external stakeholders.
• Travel to Pomerleau offices across Canada as required.

Play a strategic role in the digital transformation of construction projects by leading the implementation of BIM and VDC processes from the tendering phase onward. What you will do

• Collaborate with technical teams to define VDC best practices.
• Lead and develop a team of VDC Coordinators and Integrators.
• Ensure the quality of deliverables while meeting project timelines.
• Coordinate with project partners (designers, subcontractors, etc.) to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Promote a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in cost evaluations and strategic project planning.
• Act as an innovation ambassador for Pomerleau, both internally and with external stakeholders.
• Travel to Pomerleau offices throughout as Canada as Required
