Job summary

Pomerleau, a national leader in construction, is seeking a BIM/VDC Coordinator to support the Innovation team on large-scale projects across Canada. You will drive BIM/VDC processes, develop protocols, and collaborate with designers and trades to craft BIM execution plans.

You'll train teams on Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud, and explore 4D simulations and drone-enabled site logistics to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction engineering or civil engineering, or a technical diploma in civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience
• Over 3 years of experience in BIM in the construction or architecture sector
• Proficiency in one or more computer-aided design tools in the field of civil engineering, including: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Tekla, Rhino + Grasshopper
• Proficiency in parametric modeling (an asset)
• Nav Canada drone pilot certificate for advanced operations (an asset)
• Experience working with BIM software and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

• By piloting our drones, support site logistics and quality assurance of the work by integrating point clouds from laser scanning or using mobile technology

As a BIM/VDC Coordinator within Pomerleau's Innovation team, you will play a key role in the future of design and construction. You will be called upon to support project teams and help them successfully use cutting-edge VDC tools and methods. Working on large-scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion you will support project growth and execution through BIM (Building Information Modeling) and VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) technologies.

What You Will Do
