MNP’s Innovation & Insights team seeks an Innovation Leader within Financial Advisory Services to envision and drive next‑gen solutions. You’ll partner with leaders across MNP to design and execute on transformative offerings, enabling value-driven change across client engagements.

You’ll apply design thinking, lean startup, and agile methods to govern a robust innovation pipeline, while mentoring teams and shaping strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in innovation, data & AI, or digital transformation.
• Familiarity with design thinking, lean startup, and agile methodologies; ability to facilitate workshops.
• Experience in professional services is an asset.
• Client-facing experience and understanding of client service delivery models.
• Experience prototyping, piloting, and scaling new solutions.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

• Define and manage a structured innovation pipeline with idea intake, evaluation, and prioritization.
• Identify opportunities to transform services, engagement models, and operations via AI, automation, analytics.
• Oversee and assess innovation business cases, ensuring value, risk, and execution readiness.
• Define, measure, and communicate the innovation value framework and realized outcomes.
• Collaborate with technology teams to translate business outcomes into technical requirements.
• Act as a functional product owner for emerging tools and capabilities.
• Mentor teammates and facilitate demos, lunch-and-learn sessions, and strategy presentations.
• Maintain ongoing professional development in AI, automation, and digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead innovation initiatives from ideation through implementation while collaborating closely with Financial Advisory Services leaders, acting as a facilitator with key internal stakeholders and support teams including change enablement, technology development, data engineering and AI/ML teams
• Define, operate, and continuously improve a structured and well governed innovation pipeline, including idea intake, evaluation, and prioritization
• Identify opportunities to transform existing service offerings, engagement delivery models, internal processes, and business operations through AI, automation, analytics, and emerging technologies
• Oversee and assess innovation business cases, ensuring consistent value logic, risk considerations, execution readiness, and quality prior to prioritization
• Define, measure, and maintain the innovation value framework, including financial, operational, client, and risk-adjusted metrics; providing stakeholders with clear insight on realized value, adoption, and outcomes
• Collaborate with Innovation and technology team members to refine proof of concepts and translating business outcomes into technical requirements
• Act as a functional product owner throughout the development of emerging tools and capabilities.
• Collaborate with teammates through mentoring and knowledge sharing, including facilitation of demo’s, lunch-and-learns, and innovation strategy presentations
• Maintain ongoing professional development in emerging technologies (AI, automation, digital transformation)

Skills And Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in roles related to innovation, Data & AI, strategy, digital transformation, or operational excellence
• Deep familiarity with innovation frameworks such as design thinking, lean startup, and agile methodologies, as well as ability to facilitate workshops, and enable cross-functional collaboration
• Experience within a professional services environment (e.g., consulting, legal, accounting) is an asset
• Previous experience working within client-facing environments and understanding of client service delivery models
• Experience with prototyping, piloting, and scaling new solutions
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with the ability to build strong relationships to foster effective change and adapt to new technologies and ways of working
