Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Specialty Pharma Registered Nurse with infusion and injectable experience to work in home and clinic settings in Kamloops, BC.

This casual, 1 day per week role offers flexible scheduling and requires ensuring high-quality, individualized patient care. The nurse will monitor infusion-related reactions, document accurately, and collaborate with clinical leadership to maintain patient safety and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Current registration in good standing with the provincial nursing regulatory body.
• Current BLS certification (ACLS required for clinic roles).
• Experience in acute care and/or specialty pharmaceutical administration.
• Strong peripheral IV skills; central line experience (IVAD, PICC) an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review individualized nursing care plans.
• Conduct health assessments and medication administration teaching.
• Obtain IV access (peripheral or central) and infusions.
• Prepare and administer specialty intravenous or injectable treatments.
• Document observations, nursing diagnoses, counseling and adverse events.
