Job Title: Security Authentication Engineer

Experience Level: Level 4 (advanced): 7-15 years

Location: Montreal (Day 1 onboarding onsite / in office presence 3x week)

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our authentication and management reliability engineering group in an agile team structure. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for supporting critical firm authentication management infrastructure and utilities. An ideal candidate would be enthusiastic about infrastructure stability, innovation and intelligent monitoring of authentication and systems. In this role, you'll be working with our Kerberos infrastructure in our Linux plant.

Responsibilities:

• Providing senior-level support for firm authentication and management solutions. Solutions range from industry-standard applications to homegrown tooling.
• Support and maintain Kerberos infrastructure in our Linux plant, which involves both working on the pipeline and product releases in a large-scale infrastructure supporting over 100k servers.
• Debug issues at all levels of the stack- Assist in implementing related long-term stability and observability improvements focused on issue symptoms.
• Participate in an on-call rotation responding to PagerDuty alerts.
• Document and measure every action taken, with the goal of the automation of repetitive manual efforts.
• Create operational tooling (as required) for support team usage.
• Participate on calls with internal users and external clients or vendors when required.

Technical Skills:

An acute understanding of:

• and Access Management products
• General network and enterprise security standards and concepts as they pertain to authentication
• Advanced knowledge of the components of operating system administration on Windows and Linux [Redhat] platforms
• A deep knowledge of scripting and automation such as Python and UNIX Shells.
• Experience working with large enterprise architecture.

Experience:

• 5 to 6 years of experience working around infrastructure or application security.

• ITIL, CISSP, any SRE certifications (optional).
