Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Scheduler/Planner in Ottawa with a minimum of 8 years post‑graduate experience in infrastructure programs. You will establish scheduling governance, develop master schedules, and optimize CPM logic while coordinating with designers, CM, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Recognized university degree is beneficial.
• Minimum 8 years in project controls, time/schedule management and project management.
• Extensive experience scheduling with Primavera P6 and OPC.
• Experience in Infrastructure Real Property projects and programs.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain the project planning and scheduling framework with governance and KPIs.
• Develop and maintain WBS/CBS, baseline schedule, and master schedule from multiple inputs.
• Prepare phasing and work package strategies aligned with procurement and interfaces.
• Develop and optimize CPM schedules and review third‑party schedules for logic and risk.
• Define progress measurement methods, implement Earned Value Management, issue monthly reports.
• Monitor schedule performance, assess variances, and recommend recovery actions.
• Assess schedule impacts of changes and support delay analysis and dispute resolution.
• Support integrated risk management and conduct site visits to validate progress.
