Job summary

CARET seeks an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead our infrastructure team in delivering robust, secure, and scalable private cloud services. You will oversee design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance across compute, storage, and networking to ensure high availability and strong performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, a deep background in datacenter operations, and a track record of delivering automation with Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 7+ years of datacenter infrastructure experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
• Proven track record managing infrastructure in multi-datacenter environments.
• Strong networking, virtualization, RDS/AD, and automation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of infrastructure engineers, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Partner with peers to ensure seamless delivery of services to customers.
• Manage infrastructure projects aligned with business goals and tech roadmap.
• Guide procurement, installation, and configuration of compute, storage, and networking hardware.
• Oversee hardware, network & storage infrastructure including Cisco, Fortigate, HPE SANs and compute nodes.
• Ensure stability of Windows Server environments and Active Directory (on-prem and Entra ID).
• Drive provisioning and maintenance automation with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with Security teams to meet SOC 2 and related standards.
• Enhance monitoring and alerting to detect issues early.
• Maintain documentation and enable knowledge sharing.
• Manage a 24x7 on-call rotation and timely issue resolution.
