Job summary

Canadian Inclusion seeks a Senior System Administrator (Government) to architect and manage cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and other clouds, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You will lead migrations from on-premise to hosted cloud platforms, integrate external services, and advance automation with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

You will apply strong Linux/Windows administration, database insight, and networking expertise while leveraging AI tools to accelerate workflows

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a System/Cloud Administrator role.
• Proficiency with Azure and AWS cloud platforms, including environment architecture and deployment.
• Experience with database platforms (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts and technologies.
• Working proficiency across Linux and Windows server operating systems.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet).
• Proficiency with AI prompting and knowledge of LLMs with privacy/IP considerations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and drive issues to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy, configure, and support cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and other clouds for high availability, performance, and security.
• Lead migration of on-premise environments to hosted cloud platforms with milestone tracking.
• Implement security controls across cloud environments and manage identity, networking, and compliance.
• Configure secure integrations with external services (OAuth, Microsoft 365, GSuite, third-party apps).
• Develop IaC with Terraform/Ansible/Puppet and progress toward a CI/CD pipeline; improve automation to reduce provisioning time.
