Job Mandate

We seek a highly skilled and proactive Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and manage infrastructure supporting our scalable and secure applications. This role involves participating in business initiatives and projects across all aspects of our infrastructure and applications, including network, storage, servers, virtualization, cloud (Azure/AWS), and internally developed or vendor-supplied applications.

Major Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain server, storage, and network systems for high availability and performance.
• Manage incident, problem, and change processes for infrastructure components.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring or high-impact incidents.
• Apply patches, firmware upgrades, and OS updates following change controls.
• Conduct infrastructure health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and configuration records.
• Respond to alerts and troubleshoot issues at first and second levels.
• Collaborate with IT teams (application support, security, DevOps) to resolve issues.
• Support disaster recovery and backup operations, including testing and optimization.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed.
• Identify and implement automation to improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Demonstrate strong ownership and operational awareness.
• Work cross-functionally across development, infrastructure, and legacy support teams.
• Maintain system reliability, including systems you didn’t originally build.
