Job summary

Astek Canada is seeking an experienced IT infrastructure professional to design, implement, and support secure, integrated infrastructure solutions. You will drive PoC, RFP, and RFE initiatives, and collaborate with global teams across DevOps, security, and networking to deliver scalable IoT/OT-enabled systems.

The role emphasizes automation (PowerShell, Python, Perl, Shell), cross-functional work, and production-grade security.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in networking, security, and systems administration.
• Experience with automation and scripting.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in global and cross-functional environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and cloud technologies.
• Experience with IoT/OT technologies is a strong asset.

• Leading and supporting PoC, RFP, and RFE initiatives.

Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days/week in office, onsite onboarding on Day 1)

You will join a major organization to design, evaluate, deploy, and support complex infrastructure solutions. You will contribute to strategic PoC, RFP, and RFE initiatives as well as IoT/OT integrations in a global environment.

Design, integrate, automate, and support secure infrastructure solutions that meet business and technology requirements.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Leading and supporting PoC, RFP, and RFE initiatives
• Administering applications and ensuring end-to-end network integration
• Managing and troubleshooting network and security components
• Administering Windows, Linux, MacOS, and vendor platforms
• Developing automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Shell
