- Internal Title: Construction Management III
The Senior Field Engineer is accountable and responsible for the construction works on site, including the management of the site environment, programme, health, safety & wellbeing, quality, & commissioning of the project.
- Act as a safety leader, ensuring all works on site are conducted safely.
- Proactively engage and coordinate with Delivery Teams, Contractors, and Subcontractors by forming strong working relationships.
- Drive construction delivery through proactive schedule management, ensuring key milestones, interfaces, dependencies, logistics, and work sequencing are achieved.
- Lead in resolving construction issues.
- Proactively identify construction risks and assist Delivery Teams in developing appropriate mitigation measures.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare daily reports, including progress measurement of key quantities, crew sizes, and equipment.
- Review Work Plans, risk assessments, and permits before work activities commence.
- Conduct weekly health and safety tours.
- Work towards a snag-free completion of construction works.
- Provide technical expertise and understanding of the client's onsite standards.
- Monitor work for conformance with Issued for Construction Documents.
- Oversee the implementation of the Contractors' quality system onsite and lead construction quality efforts on behalf of the client.
- Identify, manage, and close out nonconformances in the work.
- Proactively manage and monitor onsite safety, environmental protection measures, and address third-party issues.
- Assist with the review of Contractors' Submittals and verification of Payment Requests.
- Attend meetings and sign off on inspection reports and checklists as required by the Specifications.

Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Construction Management in the area of specialty.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in an Engineering or Construction Management field.
- Licenses or Certifications: Holding a recognized certification in the area of specialty.
- Skills and Competencies: In-depth understanding of prevailing construction means and methods in the area of specialty.
- Proven capability to effectively lead a small team in Construction Management.
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, ensuring effective teamwork, promotion of innovation, and overall excellence.
- Demonstrated functional acumen to support solutions that address client goals while maintaining industry best practices.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and expertise in other construction-related software applicable to the area of specialty.
- Ability to prioritize and escalate risks to meet deadlines with minimal leadership input.
- Keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and critical information exchange.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment.
