Job Description: Head of IT Security & Technology Strategy

We are seeking a proven leader to drive the organization’s cybersecurity posture and end-user technology strategy. The ideal candidate will bring enterprise-scale experience, strong operational leadership, and the ability to align security and technology initiatives with business goals.

  • Cybersecurity / Network / Infrastructure Expertise – Must possess very strong technical knowledge (not hands-on but able to engage in deep technical conversations with Senior Managers and business leaders across Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, etc.).
  • Leadership Experience – 5–10+ years in a cybersecurity leadership role within a large enterprise (private or public sector).
  • Execution Capability – Proven track record executing multi-stream cybersecurity, identity, and end-user access strategies.
  • Policy & Governance – 5–10+ years designing policy, frameworks, and governance while effectively leading teams.
  • Leadership Impact – Exceptional leadership and mentoring capabilities, with demonstrated ability to elevate team performance.
  • Integration & Collaboration – Skilled at working seamlessly with enterprise delivery teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities
  • IT Security & Technology Strategy
  • Develop, refine, and execute comprehensive cybersecurity roadmaps.
  • Lead implementation of end-user technology improvements that enhance productivity, security, and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Enterprise Experience & Operational Leadership
  • Oversee cybersecurity operations and enterprise IT infrastructure within a large-scale setting.
  • Balance long-term strategic planning with hands-on operational execution to ensure resilience and efficiency.
  • Security Assurance & Risk Management
  • Direct security assurance activities, including threat modeling, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
  • Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and governance frameworks that mitigate risk across the enterprise.
  • Cross-Functional Team Leadership
  • Lead diverse technical teams (security, IT support, infrastructure) to deliver on integrated priorities.
  • Foster collaboration, alignment, and clear communication across departments.
  • Communication & Executive Engagement
  • Translate complex security and technology risks into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership.
  • Influence business units to adopt secure, user-friendly technologies.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and advocate for cybersecurity across the organization.
