Currently, we seek a motivated and mechanically inclined Project Manager for our manufacturing locations.
CONTRACT POSITION - IT Project Manager (CMMC Implementation)
This is a six (6) month full-time contract position based on 36 hours per week Monday – Thursday.
Responsibilities include:
Planning and Execution:
Develop program plans, frameworks, and strategies, ensuring projects are aligned with the overall program goals assisted by consultants.
Resource Management:
Ensure current operational teams and supporting personnel can meet the goals established in the Plan; work with overall organizational lead to manage the allocated budget and be able to support requests for additional resources and funding if required.
Stakeholder Management:
Communicate program progress, updates, and potential issues to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, consultants and end-users.
Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with individual projects and the overall program.Use the current SIEM tool with the pre-populated assessment of controls to effectively identify risks to the program and consult with the SMEs to establish appropriate remedial or mitigating measures.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor project progress, ensure adherence to quality standards, and address any issues that may arise.
Team Leadership:
Guide and support project teams, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to deliver projects on time and within budget.Work with SMEs to ensure the goals are prioritized effectively.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate project documentation, create program reports, and communicate program status to stakeholders. This will include updating the compliance module in the SIEM tool that tracks the specific CMMC requirements.The SIEM tool allows for the production of a Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) which needs to be generated, updated and monitored throughout the Program.
Compliance:
Ensure clear understanding of both the US rules involving CMMC and the Canadian rules regarding controlled goods and the new Canadian Program for Cyber Security Certification (CPCSC).
