Job summary

WestJet is seeking a Catering Operations Coordinator to provide real-time guidance and support from the OCC, ensuring safe, efficient inflight catering across the network. You will manage disruptions, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and drive performance improvements in a 24/7 operational environment.

Ideal candidates have airline operations experience, strong communication, and the ability to maintain composure under pressure while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong operational judgment and decision-making in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in airline operations or 24/7 operational settings is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time operational guidance and risk assessments during normal and disrupted operations.
• Coordinate catering disruptions, delays, substitutions, and service impacts across the network.
• Act as liaison between network decision makers and catering providers with clear communication.
• Administer catering reporting, delay documentation, and incident reviews.
• Investigate root causes and promote continuous improvement while adhering to policies and safety regulations.
