Job summary

MLC Little Masters Childcare in Burnaby, BC is hiring an Infant and Toddler Teacher / ECE Teacher to join a licensed group childcare centre serving 0–36 months. The role requires patience, reliability, and a passion for supporting young children’s learning and well-being, with a focus on safe routines and family communication.

As soon as possible, you will provide daily care, lead age-appropriate activities, and maintain a nurturing environment, working with a team to meet licensing requirements

Qualifications

• Must hold at least a valid ECE Certificate.
• Infant and Toddler Certificate is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of childcare work experience.
• Experience with infants and toddlers preferred.
• Must be reliable, patient, and able to work as part of a team.
• Must follow licensing requirements, centre policies, and daily routines.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care and supervision for infants and toddlers.
• Support children’s learning and development through age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment.

Little Masters Childcare Center is looking for a caring, responsible, and experienced Infant and Toddler Teacher / ECE Teacher to join our team.

We are a licensed group childcare centre in Burnaby serving children aged 0–36 months. We are looking for someone patient, reliable, and passionate about supporting young children’s learning, development, and well-being.

Requirements

• Must hold at least a valid ECE Certificate
• Infant and Toddler Certificate is preferred
• Minimum 1 year of childcare work experience
• Experience working with infants and toddlers is preferred
• Must be responsible, patient, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
• Must be able to follow licensing requirements, centre policies, and daily routines

Required Experience

Minimum 1 year of childcare work experience is required. Experience working in a 0–3 year old infant and toddler classroom environment is preferred. The candidate should be able to support daily routines, provide responsive care, plan and lead age-appropriate circle time and learning activities, and create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Strong communication skills are required, including the ability to communicate professionally with children, families, and team members.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: $25–$27 per hour, including the ECE Wage Enhancement, depending on qualifications and experience.
