Job summary

Stuart Olson in Fort McMurray is seeking laborers to support scaffold crews during turnaround work. You will perform manual material handling, site prep, loading and unloading scaffolding materials, and assist with erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems on a heavy industrial site.

The role is physically demanding, requires working outdoors in various weather, and offers day and night shifts with potential overtime. A safety mindset and ability to lift heavy loads are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting scaffolding crews (required).
• Pre Access A&D test
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs repetitively
• Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work as part of a team in a high paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist scaffolders with erecting, modifying, and dismantling scaffolding systems
• Load, unload, and move scaffold materials around site
• Carry, lift, and stage materials in designated work areas
• Maintain clean and organized work zones
• Follow all safety regulations, site rules, and supervisor instructions
• Perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
• Support general labor duties as required
