Stuart Olson in Fort McMurray, AB is hiring Telehandler/Forklift/Skid Steer Operators for Scaffold Yard at our client site. Enjoy a 7/7 rotation, camp accommodations, and flights from Edmonton or Calgary hubs.

This role involves operating industrial vehicles, loading and unloading trailers, and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. Candidates should have a Zoomboom and Skidsteer ticket, a clean driver’s abstract, and readiness for long shifts during shutdown.

Qualifications

• Ticket requirements include Zoomboom and Skidsteer.
• Industrial driving experience and clean driver's abstract.
• H2S awareness and safety training are mandatory.
• CSO/CSTS 09 and WHMIS certifications required.
• Rigging experience and CNRL Horizon site exposure are assets.
• Pre-access drug and alcohol testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial vehicles and equipment.
• Transport materials and products to designated areas.
• Load and unload designated trailers and/or trucks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Move product and/or materials manually as needed.

Site: Fort McMurray, AB - Turnaround
Schedule: 6/1, 12/2, 18/3 & 24/4 based off a 7/7 rotation contract, 12 - 14 hour per days during shutdown & 12 hour days for post. Work scope good until mid-November. Dayshift & Nightshift available.
Travel: Flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary, Travel allowance provided for out of province workers

Working Conditions

• Working in and around noise and dust
• Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions

Physical Requirements

• Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance
• Will be required to do laborer work as well
• Stand or walk for long periods of time
• Use arms and hands to reach for, handle or manipulate objects
• Climb up and down ladders, scaffolds and other objects
