Flender Corporation Canada seeks an Industrial Sales Head to lead the Quebec market and broader Eastern Canada region, driving growth across diverse sectors. You will manage key accounts, develop new business, and coordinate with engineering and service teams to deliver tailored solutions.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background, 5–8 years in technical sales, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in English and French. Will travel 40–60% within the region.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field; equivalent combo considered.
• 5–8 years in technical sales, application engineering, or service support in industrial/OEM environment.
• Experience with mechanical drives, gearboxes, rotating equipment is a strong asset.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, specs, contracts.
• Proven track record in business development, CRM, and contract negotiation.
• Project coordination experience is an asset.
• Excellent English and French communication and presentation skills.
• MS Office, CRM systems, and ERP/order management tools familiarity.
• Valid driver’s license and travel 40–60% within Quebec and Eastern Canada.

Responsibilities

• Drive business development and acquisition of new customers in Quebec and Eastern Canada.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers and identify additional opportunities.
• Prepare tenders and proposals and submit to customers.
• Review contracts to ensure tech, commercial, and delivery requirements are met.
• Prepare work orders with Flender factories in coordination with order management.
• Coordinate delivery status with order management team.
• Lead project management aspects for on-time, on-budget execution.
• Serve as lead technical expert and liaison to technical departments.
• Provide technical training to sales teams and customers.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis with service/engineering teams.
• Represent Flender at industry events, trade shows, and customer seminars.
