Job summary

Sogeclair, a global engineering partner, is seeking a project manager to coordinate industrial layout and infrastructure initiatives from our Montreal office.

The role requires 5+ years in project management within an industrial environment, strong synthesis and communication skills in French and English, and proficiency with Windows tools. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in industrial, mechanical, civil engineering, architecture or equivalent.
• 5+ years of project management experience in an industrial environment.
• Strong synthesis; ability to translate technical info in writing and speaking in French and English; good Windows skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/MS Project/Teams).

Responsibilities

• Establish plant layout or infrastructure needs for multiple sectors.
• Present projects to internal entities and communicate progress.
• Develop innovative solutions while respecting customer needs.
• Ensure deliverables comply with plans and specifications and meet deadlines.
• Plan multiple projects simultaneously with changing priorities and constraints.
• Manage the work under your responsibility (HSE, Quality) with external contractors.
• Respect budgets and inform managers of any excess costs.
