Job summary

The Project Management Institute - Southern Alberta Chapter (PMI-SAC) in Calgary seeks a results-driven Project Manager to lead industrial and commercial projects valued at over $5M from inception to closeout, coordinating client relations and project teams on site. You will own project controls, budgets, contracts, and risk mitigation while fostering a rigorous safety culture and continuous improvement.

The role requires leadership across field and office environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing projects over $5M in commercial and industrial settings.
• Journeyman Electrician required; PMP designation is a definite asset.
• Strong contracting models experience (Lump Sum, Fixed Price, Target Price, Reimbursable) and RFP handling.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership; MS Office proficiency.
• Flexibility to split between office and field/site environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver commercial and industrial projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Take full accountability for project financials, budgets, contract interfaces, and the integrated change order process.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure retention and identify opportunities to expand project scope.
• Cultivate a rigorous site safety culture, direct and organize project teams, and mentor junior team members.
• Actively identify, track, and resolve project risks and operational challenges.
