Job summary

MasTec Purnell Canada is actively recruiting a Project Coordinator for its Industrial Division near Edson, Alberta. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term position on a rotational schedule with LOA provided.

The role reports to the Project Manager and supports governance, administration, and delivery of the compressor station project. The ideal candidate holds an Engineering degree or technologist diploma, plus post-secondary study in project management.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or technologist diploma; related experience is acceptable.
• Post-secondary education in project management techniques is required.
• Experience with drawings, specs, materials and construction standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plan and specification analysis to provide clear, trackable interpretations of drawings for construction.
• Coordinate submittals and procure all close-out documents including warranties and manuals.
• Monitor field work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and codes.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project expediting lists and logs.
