A project management consultancy is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in developing project plans and manage project execution. Overview

Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables with engineering and project management teams.

Coordinate project schedules, track milestones, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.

Serve as the point of contact between engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and internal departments.

Facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and progress reports.

Generate regular project status reports for management and stakeholders.

Track and manage project budgets, purchase orders, and inventory of materials and equipment.

Coordinate resource allocation and resolve scheduling conflicts when needed

Ensure project safety

Recommend process improvements to streamline project execution and increase efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Post-secondary education in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a project coordination or related role within the mechanical, industrial, or construction sectors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential (pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform quantity take-offs and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of construction/fabrication processes
  • Located in or willing to relocate to Houston, BC or Terrace, BC.
