A project management consultancy is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist in developing project plans and manage project execution. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in project coordination within mechanical or construction sectors and demonstrate advanced Excel skills. Role involves ensuring project deadlines, facilitating meetings, and maintaining documentation. Located in Houston, BC preferred.
Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and deliverables with engineering and project management teams.
Coordinate project schedules, track milestones, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.
Serve as the point of contact between engineering teams, vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
Facilitate project meetings, prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, specifications, change orders, and progress reports.
Generate regular project status reports for management and stakeholders.
Track and manage project budgets, purchase orders, and inventory of materials and equipment.
Coordinate resource allocation and resolve scheduling conflicts when needed
Ensure project safety
Recommend process improvements to streamline project execution and increase efficiency.
