Job summary

Lumenpulse, headquartered in Longueuil, is seeking a dedicated powder painter to apply powder coating using an electrostatic process. You will maintain powder equipment, ensure boxes stay full, and verify that painted parts meet customer-specified and internal quality standards.

Safety, cleanliness, and teamwork are integral as you diagnose and resolve paint, surface treatment, and curing issues. Fluency in French is required with basic English for occasional interactions with international

Qualifications

• DEP in metal finishing, industrial painting, or equivalent; or related work experience.
• Two years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder paint by electrostatic process.
• Powder gun maintenance and ensure powder box is always full.
• Ensure parts comply with customer requests and Lumenpulse quality standards.
• Respect safety rules and keep environment and equipment clean and in good condition.
• Diagnose and resolve paint application, surface treatment and curing problems (off-line painter).
• Prepare part surfaces for paint application and mask as needed (off-line painter).
• Perform all other related tasks.

Education + Experience Required

Qualifications + Skills Required

• Ability to work with minimal supervision;
• Ability to lift loads up to 55 lbs;
• Be able to express yourself in French;
• Have a basic knowledge of oral and written English to interact occasionally with colleagues, clients and international partners who do not speak French;
• Ability to adapt easily to various situations;
• Possess a positive attitude;
• Have good communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
