in Ontario is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time, direct-hire role in a manufacturing setting. You will perform mechanical/hydraulic maintenance, welding, and preventive maintenance to ensure peak plant performance. Qualified candidates hold a 433A license and a trade/technical diploma with welding and hydraulics, plus at least five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (433A) License.
• Trade or technical school diploma (Including Welding, Blueprint Reading, Hydraulics, and Mechanical Training).
• Certified Welder in areas of Plate, 3G and other certifications preferred.
• Minimum five years of experience in an industrial environment performing related work.

Responsibilities

• Follows and promotes safe work practices per regulations and policy.
• Perform mechanical and hydraulic maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical drives and manufacturing equipment.
• Weld, cut and fabricate parts for equipment installations.
• Perform Preventive & Predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Prepare reports and document work performed per requirements.
• Update and close work orders in SAP as work is completed.
