Job summary
Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP in Toronto is seeking a seasoned Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production equipment. You will read blueprints, diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues, and perform repairs using welding and power tools.
The role requires 3+ years as a licensed Millwright (5+ preferred), with experience in conveyors, pumps, granulators, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Qualifications
- Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic Certificate of Qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed Millwright; 5+ years preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills in an industrial environment.
- Experience maintaining conveyors, pumps, granulators, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and related industrial equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and process water systems in a recycling or manufacturing environment is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial production equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Assemble machinery using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Operate lift equipment and monitor equipment for reliability and safety.
